Damage to the Insight's Front Bumper and Hood

Particulars - Pickup License Number YTX 0314

• Thursday, March 1st, 2007
• Approximately 10AM at red light
• On Homestead rd stopped and facing North at red light on 422
• Behind pickup that it stopped at the intersection (I am second car back from the "stop here" road markings)
• The pickup was a small truck model of light color and with a topper.
• Pickup at the light edged forward of road markers while waiting for green light
• I left two car lengths between my car and the pickup
• I knew that if a trunk turned from 422 onto Homestead then the pickup would be in the way
• Truck heading East on 422 turns right onto Homestead
• As expected the pickup was in the way
• The driver, without looking, put the pickup in reverse
• Despite that I was two car lengths back and blew my horn, the pickup overreacted and hit my front bumper
• I sounded the horn but the driver did not respond in time
• Pickup License Number - YTX 0314
• The driver has my phone number but has not called (I do not have his phone number but wrote vehicle license plate number - YTX 0314)
• There is minor paint damage to the front bumper and to the engine deck
• The damage can not be "rubbed out" as insisted by the driver of the pickup
